Por ando El Kunōzan Tōshōgū, ubicado en Suruga-ku, Shizuoka-shi, es un lugar sagrado que puede considerarse el «origen» de todos los Tōshōgū jinja del país, al consagrar al venerado Tokugawa Ieyasu, el primer shōgun del shogunato Edo.
